Volunteers are the “secret sauce” of Junior Achievement. By working side-by-side with teachers, they not only bring their real-world experience and wisdom into the classroom, but also become inspiring role-models for the students.
It is not difficult to volunteer for JA. The time commitment is limited. JA provides all of the lesson plans and classroom materials. JA staff also conduct training sessions, so no volunteers go into the school unprepared. For more information about volunteering time commitments and prep work, please click here.
For specific volunteer opportunities, please reference the table below. Opportunities for Traditional format programs include a range of dates. Exact dates are agreed upon between the classroom teacher and the volunteer. These programs would not last the entire date range.
If you are interested in general volunteer opportunities, please submit our volunteer interest form or contact our Senior Volunteer Engagement Manager, Sarah Thrall at Sthrall@jaconn.org or (860) 525-4510 ex. 244
